Main Purpose : To manage and coordinate projects from customer liaison through system design to manufacture, installation and commissioning of complete systems, for use primarily in offshore drilling rigs.

Activities : These will include, but not be limited to: Liaison with Clients/Senior Engineer to ensure an accurate interpretation of project requirements Design and installation of analogue and digital instrumentation and systems for both safe and hazardous areas.

Carry out offshore surveys for clients and prepare reports based on survey findings On-site fault finding, repair and modification of instrumentation systems Assessment of cost and time implications of design changes/new designs Other general duties as assigned y the Senior Engineer. Minimum Competencies/ Knowledge Required : Previous experience of working in the project design engineering field, with particular knowledge of hazardous area design considerations Educated to Degree/HND level in a technical discipline Experience of PLC and SCADA systems Computer literate including familiarity of computer networks Offshore work experience and current certification Other Desired Competencies : Knowledge of Allan Bradley PLC Systems Previous CAD/Engineering drawing experience Aspirare Recruitment Scotland delivers corporate recruitment and business solutions that are custom designed to cost, effectively meeting our clients and candidates needs.
