Aspirare are currently recruiting for Electrical Project Engineers for one of their clients who are based in Aberdeen.

The client is a leading supplier of power plants for the decentralized power generation market and for the oil & gas industry.

The ideal Candidate will have experience in the following: 2 Years electrical design experience, particularly with switchboards and power control systems. Specific knowledge (practical hands-on, design or maintenance) of electrical power distribution, motor controls and generator controls. Some knowledge or evidence of creating or modifying electrical schematic drawings.

Main Responsibilities:

1. To design electrical solutions and deliver electrical engineering projects.

2. Detailed surveys of major electrical plant/switchboards (HV and LV), focusing on power control and protection systems. This will require travel to clients and vessels as required.

3. To produce quotes as per customers' enquiries within timeframe as decided by the Manager.

4. Preparation of design packages, work packs and electrical schematics/documents.

5. Use of AutoCAD to establish base designs

6. Project management and liaison with clients, key vendors and certifying authorities

7. Technical support for our field service team, clients and other companies

8. To participate in the 24-hr. rota for customer enquiries at all depots

9. To maintain a good relationship with customers and colleagues by adopting a pleasant and professional attitude

10. To comply with the Company's Quality, Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities policies.

11. In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility of the post.
